Learn the world’s business language with the world’s English experts
This course covers topics relevant to work and social situations which you are likely to experience in international business. The focus of this course is on developing all four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) as well as extending your vocabulary and improving your use of grammar.
Learning outcomes
On this course you will:
- increase your ability to communicate in workplace situations.
- develop your business writing skills.
- review key vocabulary and grammar for business.
- practise English through role-plays and presentations.
- use targeted, up-to-date materials in business focused lessons.
- learn in a professional, business-like environment.

- use a range of verbs with to + infinitive or the -ing form
- use a range of strategies and phrases to convince others
- write an email clearly stating what someone must do in order to achieve something
- summarise the findings of a survey or focus group as a part of a report
