The British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, hosts “Alumni UK”, a global network for people from around the world who have studied in or with the UK as an overseas student.
The “Alumni UK Reception in Osaka 2026”, co-hosted with the British Consulate-General Osaka, will be an opportunity for UK alumni to meet and network with fellow UK alumni, as well as guests of the Consulate, including professionals from the business, higher education and research sectors who have worked or partnered with the UK, and UK nationals residing in Japan. This is a chance to connect with the wider UK-linked community and to build new professional and personal connections.

Audience (Alumni UK allocation):
- International alumni of UK universities/higher education institutions
*You need to have spent at least one term at a UK higher education institution enrolled on a credit-bearing course as an international student. This includes transnational or online education. Those who only attended a language course and UK nationals are not eligible. - UK alumni registered on the British Council Alumni UK platform
*You will automatically be registered on the Alumni UK platform when you submit your application to attend this event. If you are already registered, your information will be updated when you submit your application.
Capacity (Alumni UK allocation): Approx. 40 (advance registration required, a draw will be conducted if applications exceed capacity)
