Experience the fascinating story of Pompeii and Herculaneum with this cinema event from the British Museum! A recorded version of Pompeii Live from the British Museum, the first ever live cinema event to be produced by and broadcast from the British Museum, will be shown in cinemas across 5 cities in Japan.

Pompeii Live was originally broadcast to more than 280 screens in the UK and Ireland, from the British Museum's major exhibition Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum in June 2013. The exhibition attracted a record number of visitors, while the live cinema event sold more than 45,000 tickets, allowing audiences to enjoy an exclusive private tour of the exhibition from the comfort of the cinema.
