What is your favourite food from your country?

My favourite food from my country is cassava leaves mixed with beans and rice. In my mother tongue, we call it ‘pondu ya madesu’.

Could you describe the food and tell us why you like it?

Cassava leaves mixed with beans is a traditional food from the west of Congo. 

When do you eat it?

It is a main meal and it is very heavy.

Are there any restaurants in Tokyo where we can try this food?

Unfortunately, I have never seen it here because it is a homemade dish.
